GAT PGT stands for GITAM University Admission Test for post graduate technological programs. As the name suggests, the test is conducted for admission to post graduate technical programs (M.Tech in various disciplines and MCA). The candidates, who desire to seek admission in the programs offered by the university, should be familiar with the basic use of computer as the test is conducted through on-line mode. The aspirants possessing 50% marks in the qualifying examination are eligible. Established in 1980, GITAM University holds the status of a Deemed University, under the UGC act 1956. The university imparts education in the field of Technology, Pharmacy, Science and Management, through its various institutions.
