SASTRA University has decide tocange its admission policy to give more weightage to JEE Main for the B.Tech admissions from 2014. Changing its admission policy of the past 10 years, the University has notified that 70% of the seats will be reserved for the JEE Main applicants in both the B.Tech and the five year integrated courses.The admissions will be on the basis of the performance in JEE Main and Class XII Board exams in the ratio of 75:25.
The remaining 30% of the engineering seats at SASTRA University will be for the students based on normalized Class XII aggregate board marks.
