Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) Belgaum, in Karnataka, is a constituent part of the KLE University. Established in 1963, it has several collaborations with foreign universities and organizations such as ICMR, WHO, University of Illinois, Chicago, USA, University of Missouri and Kansas City, USA for the purpose of teaching and research. The medical college is recognized by the Medical Council of India and the Malaysian Medical Council. JNMC Belgaum also listed in W.H.O. directory of World Medical Institutions.
Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College works with an objective of becoming a center of excellence in Medical Education, Research and HealthCare services and gain reputation at national and international levels. Currently, the college is attached to a 1000-bedded free charitable block as well as 1000-bedded Dr. Prabhakar Kore Hospital & Medical Research Centre, on campus.
