With the formation of the Central Gujarat University (CGU), around 85 colleges that were subsidiary to Gujarat University (GU), yet were in the ward of the recently framed college, will be de-partnered by GU.
GU bad habit chancellor M N Patel said the state government has as of late established the new college which has been headquartered in Godhra and will cover Panchmahals, Mahisagar, Dahod and Vadodara provincial. The 85 college which were subsidiary to GU have been de-partnered and exchanged to the new CGU. While the first year aspirants will be enlisted with the CGU, the officially contemplating second and third year aspirants will stay as GU College.
With the de-association of 85 colleges and arrangement of Gujarat Law Society University, the quantity of college has been diminished by 100.GU prior had 350-odd schools associated with it.
Prior, the VC had suggested that all the college which was subsidiary from different ranges ought to be exchanged to the particular university of their regions. College of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar ought to be subsidiary with GU.
