Ahemdabad: Application form for admission to 71,000 degree engineering seats will be accessible from May 25 while enlistment for the same will start from May 30, two days after HSC (science) results are declared by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB).
The pin number and the data booklet will be accessible from 112 branches of Punjab National Bank.
The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) will set up the merit list taking into account the percentile got in the examination led by different sheets (counting the Central Board for Secondary Education) and the percentile acquired by the students in the Joint Entrance Examination (Main).
Authorities said that in setting up the legitimacy list, 60% weightage will be given to the percentile acquired by an students in their board examination while the staying 40% weightage will be given to the JEE percentile.
As per ACPC authorities, the form will be filled from May 25 till June 10. The authorities have made it clear that students who have not enrolled themselves won't be qualified for admission to engineering courses. The least qualifying criteria for general class student is 45% imprints in physics, chemistry and mathematics papers while it will be 40% imprints for held classification students.
