Applications are released by Birla Institute Technology (BIT), Mesra for admission to 4 years full time Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) program offered in many disciplines in campuses for the beginning session 2015.

Eligibility Criteria for BIT, Mesra:
a) Aspirants must have appeared in JEE (Main) 2015 or All India Pre-Medical/ Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT-2015).
b) Aspirants must have passed Class 12 / I.Sc. or equivalent qualifying examination.
c) Aspirants must have passed in English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology /Biotechnology in class 12 / I.Sc. or equivalent qualifying examination with minimum 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD).
d) Marks in class 12 to be computed should be as average of following 4 subjects-English, Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology.
How to Apply for BIT, Mesra;
Aspirants can apply online.
a) Pay application fee of Rs.2,500/- (General / OBC candidates) or Rs.1,500/- (SC/ST aspirants) through State Bank Collect – net banking or debit/credit card of any nationalized bank in favour of “Birla Institute of Technology” within the given time period.
b) Send the completed application along with the enclosures to the Office of Dean, Admissions & Academic Coordination, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi – 835215.
c) Write ‘B.Pharm 2015’ on the top of envelope.
Selection Procedure for BIT, Mesra:
Selections to the 4-year (8-semester) Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) program will be made on the basis of merit that will be drawn by giving:
a) 60% weightage to JEE (Main) 2015 / All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) 2015 score. And
b) 40% weightage to academic performance (marks in class 12/ equivalent qualifying examination)
a) Last date for submission of online application: Thursday, August 20, 2015.
b) Display of list of short-listed candidates to be called for admission: Sunday, August 23, 2015.
