  • The Common Admission Test 2015 (CAT 2015) will be led by the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIM Ahmedabad) on Sunday, November 29, 2015, in two different sessions. Feline is the selection test for induction into the IIMs and other chief business colleges (B-schools) in India.

Scoring & comparing procedure - standardization: Two diverse test structures will be regulated in the two sessions of CAT 2015. With a specific end goal to guarantee reasonableness and value in correlation of exhibitions of the hopefuls crosswise over diverse test sessions, the scores of the aspirants will be subjected to a procedure of standardization. The standardization procedure to be executed will modify for area and scale contrasts of score dispersions crosswise over diverse structures. After standardization crosswise over distinctive structures, the scores will be further standardized crosswise over diverse areas and the scaled scores acquired by this procedure will be changed over into percentiles with the end goal of short-posting.

There will be three areas in CAT 2015, to be specific, Quantitative Aptitude (QA), Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) and Verbal & Reading Comprehension (VRC). For reason for reporting, scaled scores for every area and the aggregate alongside the percentiles will be distributed.

The procedure of standardization is a set up practice for looking at competitor scores over different structures and is like those being embraced in other major instructive determination tests directed in India, for example, the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). For standardization crosswise over areas, a kind of percentile equality will be utilized.

Aspirants need to note that online enlistments for CAT 2015 begin on Thursday, August 6, 2015.
