  • More Central Board  of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class 10 students from the city scored a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 10 (more than 90%) this year compared to last year. The results for the Chennai region (which includes Mahara-shtra) announced on Tuesday, suggest that the new system of continuous comprehensive evaluation (CCE) is successful.

    This was the second year of students getting grades instead of marks. The 2010-11 batch was the first to be evaluated on a system of continuous evaluation from Class 9 and had the option of taking a school final exam instead of a board exam.

    In Maharashtra, 15,969 students took the board exams, while 5,680 opted for the school conducted final exams. Both sets got their results on Tuesday. You can see the10t h result...
