CBSE: Not possible AIPMT retest in four weeks

  • The Central Board of Secondary Education said on Monday that it will approach the SC to look for more opportunity to direct AIPMT 2015, saying it is impractical to conduct the retest in four weeks.

    The board said that it will move the summit court to clarify that the test-preparation for AIPMT takes seven months.

    More than 6.3 lakhs took the test led by CBSE on May 3, 2015.

    Satbir Bedi, administering administrator, CBSE, said: "It is not achievable to lead such an exam in a month time. We begin preparation for the AIMPT from August. At least seven months is required for preparation."

    Earlier, the SC seat had requested that Haryana police document a new report demonstrating the quantity of recipients of the charged anomalies in the premedical examination taking after assertions of paper break.

    The CBSE at first prevented the occurrences from claiming hole. The SC additionally requested that the police distinguish whatever number hopefuls as could be expected under the circumstances who had been profited from the affirmed hole.

    The board was planned to pronounce the result on June 5, which the SC remained.

    On Monday, the court requested that CBSE hold the retest inside of four weeks while wiping out the test hung on May 3.

    As per Bedi, the board will meet and choose the future strategy, while out rightly saying that retest in four weeks is unrealistic. "The board will disclose to the court that additional time will be expected to conduct the exam."

    As indicated by sources in AIMPT cell in CBSE, the earliest the board can conduct the exam will be in November 2015.
