Class 10th Assam Boards begin on Feb 19th

  • More than four lakh applicants will take the current year's Class 10th examination led by the Board of Secondary Education (Seba). The High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) and Assam High Madrassa (AHM) exams will start from Thursday.

    The state government has asked all district magistrates to keep up strict vigil over the 940 examination centers.

    "All arrangements have been finished and we look for the collaboration of all segments of society. Area level examination observation councils, including authorities from the organization and training office, have as of now been set up," said Seba secretary Abir Hazarika.

    He included that the state government has asked police to monitor examination centers."Consideration has been taken to keep up the sacredness of the examination. In sensitive centers, authorities have been asked to keep video footage in the event that they see any negligence going on," Hazarika included.

    Sources in Seba said, in a few locale, the powers will confine the entrance of individuals, including guardians, in the examination centers. Seba has recognized 66 centers in the state as sensitive and hypersensitive, Hazarika said.

    Of the aggregate 4,03,228 board examinees this year, 3,21,103 will show up in the HSLC examination surprisingly. In AHM, 9,014 candidates will appear for the first time."The Class X board examination is in reality the first real examination of my life. Tomorrow (Thursday), we should show up for our English paper," said Hemen Rabha, a board examinee.Best of Luck for all 10th Assamese students who is preparing hard for last one year.
