  • The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the examination dates for some of the subjects of the Senior School Certificate (Class 12th) Examination 2015. The choice to reschedule the exam dates for a few subjects was made because the dates were clashing with the JEE (Main) 2015 exam dates. The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE-Main) 2015 is planned to be conducted on April 10th, 2015 and April 11th, 2015. The Graphics, Painting, Sculpture, APP/Commercial Art and Psychology papers of the Senior School Certificate Examination 2015, directed by CBSE was also planned to be held on April 10th, 2015 and April 11th, 2015, according to the previous date sheet issued. In this manner, to avoid any inconvenience to applicants who have decided on any of these papers, the board has reexamined the timetable for these subjects

According to the revised schedule, four subjects including Painting, Graphics, Sculpture and APP/Commercial Art will now be held on 18 April 2015 rather than 10 April 2015 and the paper on Psychology will be held on 20 April 2015 rather than 11 April 2015. The Class 12th Board Examinations is planned to begin on March 02nd, 2015. The exams were to finish up on April 17th, 2015. Notwithstanding, after the rescheduling of dates for a few subjects, the Senior School Certificate Examination for Class 12th student will now close on April 20th,  2015 with the paper on Psychology.

    Changed Schedule

18 April 2015:  Painting, Graphics, Sculpture and APP/Commercial Art

    20 April 2015:  Psychology

JEE (Main) or the Joint Entrance Examination is also conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The entrance exam is widely popular among engineering aspirants. The national level entrance exam is used as a standard for admissions to a number of engineering colleges across the country.  The Joint entrance exam is also the first screening test for candidates seeking admissions into the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs). Close to 13.03 lakh students have registered for the Joint Entrance Examination this year. Candidates who qualify in the entrance exam will be eligible for admissions to the IIITs, ISM Dhanbad, NITs, various CFTIs and SFIs.
