Common Admission Test (CAT) results to be declared on Saturday

  • The results for common admission test (CAT)-2014 will be declared on Saturday when it will be displayed on the official website in the evening.Convenor of CAT-2014 professor Rohit Kapoor from IIM-Indore affirmed that the results were prepared and would be uploaded on the website.CAT results are typically announced in the second week of January. This year, the dates were not published in advance; however IIM-Indore had set the deadline at the third week of December.

    Around 1.75 lakh candidates showed up for the exam on November 16 and 22. An authority said TCS, which had held the test on behalf of the IIMs, had officially given the scores but they would be published just after decency check. The institute needed to guarantee that the results were without glitch and the procedure was straightforward, the authority said.

    A few changes in the test pattern were presented by the IIMs this year.
