It is expected that this year’s cut off marks for MBBS will go down. This will increase the chances of admission for the students from the previous batches. Admission forms can be downloaded or purchased from May 15 till June 2. Random numbers will be selected on June 15 and merit list will be declare don June 20. The counseling will commence on July 2. The scores of physics and biology are expected to reduce which will bring cut off down by 0.5 to 1.25 marks. Government of Tamil Nadu has allowed students from previous batches to apply, without any limitation on the number of seats. The state is likely to add 285 more seats in four government medical colleges. The four colleges in which seats will be increased are Madras Medical College, Stanley Medical College, Chengalpet Medical College and Kilpauk Medical College. The government is taking all the steps to increase the number of seats and infrastructure facilities in these colleges.
