  • MOOLCHAND Medcity, in partnership with the Ronald Reagan Institute of Emergency Medicine (RRIEM), at the George Washington University, US, will offer a three-year postgraduate programme in emergency medicine.
        “It is a three-year postgraduate programme in emergency medicine where we prepare fellows to practice in the complex and challenging area of emergency medicine at the highest levels. With regular theory classes, students are posted in the emergency department of Moolchand Medcity as well as in the various critical care areas of the hospital,” said Vibhu Talwar, chief operating officer, Moolchand Medcity.
        The faculty will offer lectures, seminars, simulations and clinical teaching to the fellows. The quality of the education programmes will be maintained through continuous assessments of the fellows and the overall fellowship programme.
        The duration of the Masters programme in emergency medicine is three years. Eligibility criteria include an MBBS with internship, registration with Delhi Medical Council. The fee for the programme is Rs 6.75 lakh (for three years) and the number of seats are 10 (per-year).
        On completion, fellows get a postgraduate degree in emergency medicine from George Washington University, US, and a certificate in proficiency in healthcare quality standards from Moolchand. For more information, candidates can download the prospectus form from
