Since 1983 Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT) has been working to provide its students a full time four year Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) course . This specific course has gained popularity among students because of its huge market demands.
Sujata Sengar, assistant professor & associate head, ECE department, NSIT, informed that, this particular course contains papers on all major fields of engineering like electronic engineering, computer science & control engineering. In the last two years of that course knowledge is imparted on advanced topics of electronics & communication engineering like digital signal processing, microwave engineering, bipolar & MOS Analog IC design.
Though college authority receives around 12,000 applications for this course , but the number of seat available for this course is 120. Students who want to get admission for this course, should have to possess AIEEE rank of up to 6,000. Sengar further stated that this specific course aims to provide students industry specific knowledge .
