GMAT, the path for Indian students to study abroad will now have its own official website, ‘mba.com-India’. Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), the owner and administrator of GMAT examination, announced the launch of the website on Tuesday.
The website has been designed, especially for Indian candidates. It contains a detailed classification of the top business schools in India, Indian B-schools accepting GMAT score and placements offered by B schools accepting GMAT scores globally.
Other than this, the portal also contains information about funding options, the cost implications and the prospective return on investment. Also, the portal contains a number of video testimonials which narrates the journey of Indian students from GMAT to the business schools of their choice.
Ashish Bhardwaj, regional director for South Asia, GMAC, says, “We've seen dramatic growth in the number of Indian candidates interested in pursuing management education over the last several years. Also with significant growth in acceptance of the GMAT at Indian business schools, these candidates have more choice. This new site will help them navigate the path to a quality graduate management degree with content designed specifically for this market."
GMAC has a total number of 200 member schools in 24 countries. Out of these, six member schools are located in India, namely, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, SP Jain Institute of Management and Research, Mumbai, School of Business Management, NMIMS University, Mumbai and Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai.
