JEE Main 2015 Application Form Last Date Extended

  • Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common entrance examination which is conducted for admission in various engineering courses. In 2012, CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has announced this common examination in place of AIEEE and IIT-JEE. JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is being conducted into two parts, JEE-Main and JEE-Advanced. JEE-Advanced is for admission in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), and theJoint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an all India common entrance examination which is conducted for admission in various engineering courses. JEE-Advanced is for admission in Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER), and the Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad and JEE-Main exam is to admission in IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology), National Institutes of Technology, CFTIs (Central Funded Technical Institute),and IIEST,SHIBPUR .

    As IIT's, IISERs, and ISM are the most premier and prestigious engineering and science colleges in India, the candidates have to clear the second level of exam JEE-Advanced for securing admission in them. Only top candidates of JEE-Mains are eligible to appear for JEE-Advanced exam. The candidates who clear JEE-Advanced exam have the opportunity to join either of the IIT's, IISERs, or ISM. The candidates who clear JEE-Mains but are not eligible for JEE-Advanced can seek admission in other engineering colleges like Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIT), National Institute of Technology (NIT) and followed by other government and private engineering colleges.

    As per an important notification issued by Executive Director of JEE Apex Board, the Online submission of JEE Main 2015 Application Form Last Date has been extended up to 26th December, 2014 (11:59 PM). This announcement is made in response to the various requests made by various candidates, parents as well as schools.

    Interested students who have not yet submitted their online applications should fill the JEE Main 2015 Application Form and Upload the scanned images of Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression on or before 11.59 PM of 26th December, 2014.

    However, the application fee may be paid by the candidates online through credit/debit card up to 27th December, 2014 (11.59 PM) & through e-challan at the Bank up to 27th December, 2014 only up to the Bank’s working hours.

    All other information regarding the terms and conditions for filling up the application form remains unaltered. It is informed hereby that the last date for the online submission of applications for JEE Main 2015 will not be extended any further so, the aspirants are advised to duly submit their applications on or before the deadline to be able to sit for JEE Main 2015 Exam.

    Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has already announced the schedule for the JEE Main 2015 (Joint Entrance Examination) to be held for admissions to the NITs, IIITs, CFTIs etc. JEE Mains is held every year in two modes i.e. Online and Offline Mode. JEE Main 2015 Exam is scheduled to be held online on 10th and 11th April, 2015 and in offline mode on 4th April,2015.

    Candidates who will qualify JEE Mains will be eligible to compete in JEE Advanced 2015 for admission in the most prestigious institutes i.e. Indian Institute of Technology.
