The wait for around 8.7 lakh students of SSLC would be over soon as the awaited results are expected to be published today i.e. 12 May at around 7 pm in the evening. There was some uncertainty in the exact date of the results till the time primary and secondary education minister Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri made it clear with an official announcement that the results would be declared on the said date.
These results can be checked on the official results portal of Karnataka examination on http://karresults.nic.in, when published. Earlier the day before yesterday, II PUC examinations results were published which has shown the downfall in the overall pass percentage from 49.27% in 2010 to 48.93% this year where girls outshined the boys with 56.92% against 42.19%.
Another trend was followed as Udupi district has once again topped in the second year Pre-University Course examinations followed by Dakshina Kannada and Uttara Kannada. Udupi this year has recorded a pass percentage of 87.14% compared to the overall percentage of 48.93%, however there is downfall of 1.87% in the results of Udupi. The wait is about to be over to see if the same patterns would be repeated in the SSLC results today.
