Shri Ram College of Commerce in Delhi has planned to go for a change in its cutoff formula for both the B. Com (H) & BA Economics (H) program in such a way so that the cutoff will not touch the 100% mark. This new formula of cutoff will be more challenging for students of science & humanities background who desire to join the economics (H) course.
This college has decided the cutoff for the B. Com (H) program based on five categories like A,B,C, D & E. It has aimed to lower the 4% margin between category A & E to 2 % this year.
Students belonging to category A have four commerce subjects such as accountancy, business studies, economics & mathematics; students of category B study three commerce subjects. Students of categories like C & D have two & one commerce subjects respectively. Students from category E do not have any commerce subject.
