The Engineering, Agricultural Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) which is conducting the entrance test, 2011 on behalf of APSCHE has taken out the admission notification for the students.
The notice informs the Managements of Private Unaided Minority and Non Minority Engineering and Pharmacy colleges that the cutoffs for category ‘B’ admissions (30% of sanctioned intake) are scheduled to be out on October 15, 2011. The seats for Non-Minority Institutions will be filled according to the rules of admissions prescribed in G.O.Ms.No.74 & amendment in G.O.Ms.No.93 and seats for Minority Institutions will be filled according to the rules of G.O.Ms.No.75 & amendment in G.O.Ms.No.94.
Also, the eligibility criteria for admission into CAT B are also prescribed for the students. For NRI candidates, 50% marks in aggregate/group subjects in the qualifying examination or CGPA equivalent to 5 on scale of 10 is required. For the candidates of other states, the ranking of All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) and 45% marks in group subjects in qualifying examination is required.
If any seat remains unoccupied in above mentioned two categories then they will be filled considering the EAMCET rank with 45% marks in group subjects in qualifying examination and 50% marks in aggregate/group subjects in the qualifying examination.
Foreign National candidates are not allowed for the admission.
