The 1.89 lakh aspirants who appeared for the Maharashtra state's common entrance test (MH-CET) this year, only 20.8% are eligible for admissions to courses in MBBS and BDS in state's medical and dental college. Directorate of Medical Education and Research (DMER) announced the outcomes at 6 pm.
The highest score was 199 out of 200 marks. Around 17.8% aspirants qualified from whatever remains of Maharashtra (including Mumbai), 27.4% aspirants qualified from Vidarbha and 20.8% aspirants are qualified from the Marathwada location. This year the number of hopefuls who enlisted had gone up by 26% from a year ago's 1.53 lakh to 1.94 lakh. Around 1.04 lakh girls and 84,929 boys had appeared for the exam on May 7.
