The Indian Institute of Technology Madras has decided to team up with the Automation Industry Association to establish a centre of excellence in Chennai. This initiative will promote industry specific research projects. They will sign a MOU on June 7 in this context. Joint development of curriculum, research projects, individual technology demonstrations & training workshops will be arranged under the MOU. Its aim is to instill up to date technology into educational system.
K Nandakumar, vice-president of the association, AIA, described the partnership as an opportunity to present successful ideas and to communicate with emerging technical talent and users.
