  • Pharmacy colleges in the country are facing crisis as out of 4,300 seats, just, 2,776 seats were allotted and only 1,304 admissions have been confirmed till date.

In the past year, 6,848 seats were vacant in these collages. Comparing to last year, this year more seats are likely to remain vacant.

"Of the 1,034 students who confirmed admissions, some students may go to medical and paramedical colleges. This will be a bigger loss to the pharmacy branch," said officials.

Meanwhile, medical and paramedical admissions will begin on Friday-21,000 students have applied for 8,800 seats.
