SNAP 2015: Test pattern & Test centers

  • The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test 2015 (SNAP 2015) will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, December 20, 2015. SNAP is conducted by the premier Symbiosis International University Pune (SIU Pune) for admissions into Master of Business Administration (MBA) programs offered by different business schools (B-schools) under SIU.

    Test Structure: The duration of SNAP 2015 is 120 minutes. It will be an objective test. Each question will have four responses. Aspirants have to choose an appropriate response. For each incorrect answer, there will be 25% negative marks. Aspirants need to use blue or black ball point pen only to write the test.

    The four sections of the test are:

    a) General English: Reading Comprehension, Verbal Reasoning & Verbal Ability for 40 marks.

    b) Quantitative Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency for 40 marks.

    c) General Awareness: General Knowledge, Current Affairs & Business Scenario for 40 marks.

    d) Analytical & Logical Reasoning for 60 marks.

    Total marks is 180

    Test Cities: SNAP 2015 will be announced across 30 cities in India. Aspirants can choose one city out of the cities as mentioned below.

    The cities are: Agra, Ahmedabad, Allahabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Faridabad, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kanpur, Kochi, Kolkata, Kolhapur, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Nashik, Noida, Patna, Pune, Surat, Vashi and Visakhapatnam.

    Note: Test center and its address will be printed on the SNAP 2015 admit card. The Symbiosis Test Secretariat reserves the right to change or allot a city other than the one requested by the candidate in the event of the requested city not being available for any reason.
