Sixty for students of Girls College near Jajpur (Odisha) could not appear in the plus two examinations as college authorities fail to issue admit cards to art stream students.

The students have lodged a complaint against the college authorities. The students had filled up examination form on time with the fees requested for the examination being conducted by Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha.

When they came to collect their admit cards on Friday, a day before commencement of exams, the principal had asked them to collect their admit cards on the day of examination but authorities failed to issue the admit cards, thus leaving students enfeeble.

We have received a complaint from the students and a case has been registered. We have sought the admission register, CHSC recognition letter and other related documents of the college and investigations are underway, said Deepak Kumar, Superintendent of Police of Jajpur.
