New Delhi: To make the students aware of the practical knowledge and to hone their professional skills, Faculty of Management Studies (FMS) is now inviting guest lecturers specialized in specific sectors.
To kick-start the initiatives two sectors were identified by the faculty viz. Indian Banking System and Entrepreneurship.
Dron Capital founder director Mr. Pathik Gangotra who also in an alumnus gave lecture of Indian Banking System. Lecture on Indian banking system, students learned about the capital adequacy to be kept by a bank, what is banks' capital, how it is being generated and what it means to investors and customers.
Mr. J C Shukla who is CEO of Nahak Overseas Limited mentored Guest lecturer on Entrepreneurship. He is an engineer and MBA from IIM-A, have 35 years experience in consultancy/enterprise/strategy/social sector. Mr. J C Shukla defined entrepreneurship concepts related to Information and Communication Technology (ICT). He also explained the importance of the same in the current business environment and in time to come.
