Hemendra Singh Rana of Gwalior has achieved top position in the pre-engineering & pharmacy test (PEPT) 2012 under Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) for the admission to state level engineering & pharmacy courses. He has obtained 174 marks out of 200 in both tests. The results had been announced on May 31. The test was held on May 20. Abhishek Pandey from Bhopal has acquired top position in Pharmacy.
Around 1.8 lakh applications were submitted to the board in this year & 1.15 lakh students had appeared for the PET test. Six students who belong from Indore, Gwalior & Jabalpur, have secured their names in the merit list.
For the test of Pharmacy course, total 19,461 applications were submitted to the board & 18, 1851 students appeared in the test. Anand Rajoriya from Gwalior secured second position in it.
