  • Recently, CBSE posted a circular on its website, stating the schools that, students of 11th class will not be forced to change their stream. Schools who are starting 11th standard classes before the 10th standard board result will not force their students the change the stream later on, if they don’t get enough marks. And if they still force students to change steam then they cannot charge any fee from those students. CBSE says that there are many schools that start the session before the results and later on, when the results are out, they force children to change streams as per their marks. This results in a lot of chaos and wastage of time. This order was passed when a student filed a case against his school for forcing him to change the stream and buy new set of books. This circular is only valid for those schools who will start their classes before the result is announced.
