Andhra Medical College in Visakhapatnam is one of the earliest medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh and can be considered as one of the oldest colleges in India. Ever since from the day of establishment, the college has always been able to achieve national acknowledgment as a center of excellence in higher education for medical science. Having started with just 32 students, Andhra Medical College has come a long way, with the strength of students now up to 150 under-graduates, 164 post-graduates and 8 super-specialty trainees. The colleges offers several Para-medical and health related courses under NTR Health University. AMC students have not only been triumphant nationally, but also globally. The college offers a wide range of diploma courses in medical science as well. Their talent has not been limited to academics, but also co-curricular, cultural and social activities.
